We envision a society where aging is shared journey marked by connection, strength, and vitality, and the role of caregiving is supported through community, collaboration, and guidance.
The Thrive Campaign will expand AGE’s services to meet the growing need in our community and it will serve as a springboard to launch new approaches to support for our aging neighbors. To us, thriving means leadership and innovative thinking which creates new models of service and care for the aging. Our centers are welcoming spaces that nurture the hearts and minds of older adults and their caregivers. They are also incubators of care, where compassionate support blossoms and spreads into the community.
The Thrive Campaign will establish a corridor of essential care along IH-35, filling a current void through the heart of our community. In doing so, our services will be accessible to the largest number of vulnerable older adults in Central Texas.
The Thrive Campaign will:
Double the number of older adults and caregivers we can serve.
Make AGE programs more accessible to those in areas where services for the aging are now nonexistent.
Provide new programmatic space which will allow us to offer more programs at a single
location as a one-stop-shop for care.
Foster collaboration within the nonprofit sector to collectively identify long-lasting solutions to the challenges our aging Central Texas community face.
Three projects will expand AGE’s programs into underserved areas in Central Texas.
